Welcome to Wild Kingfishers and thank you for finding us. We are a small independent setting located in the heart of Wilton, Wiltshire and we believe that every child is unique. We began over 40 years ago, in 1978 and our little preschool accommodates 24 children between the ages of 2-4. We give each child personal attention for their individual development and growth journey. 

Our approach to the care of your child is to build on their strengths and develop their confidence, this promotes self-esteem and encourages the independence to explore, ask questions and learn. We do not separate children by age as this advocates learning from older peers and we promote outdoor learning all year round (whatever the weather!).

We use the 'unique child' learning style, this means we focus on the individual child by getting to know them and how they learn. Then we can develop their next steps that are specific to them and make learning an adventure.
